Senior Electrical Power Steering Electrical Application Engineer

Job Description

Overview:

Lead engineering interface between customer engineering and client design, development and validation groups globally, assure disciplined change control process and deliver customer DVP&R that meets customer requirements.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Champion, primary point of contact for customer engineering relationship and represent clienbt Application Engineering in all cross-functional electrical teams at the customer.

Owner of all customer related electrical application technical issues.

Responsible for managing customer drawings, models and bill of materials (electronics hardware and software).

Chair all customer electrical engineering meetings (design reviews, peer reviews, etc).

Support customer electrical information storage in client Project Binders in Novel Teaming application.

Coordinate and oversee customer specific Safe Launch plans as appropriate.

Support client Quality and Warranty groups in technical investigations of launch and field returns as necessary.

Position is located at:
50 – 75% on-site at Chrysler Technical Center, Auburn Hills;
25 – 50% at client corporate Tech Center Michigan.
