Description

POSITION

Mechanical Engineer (M)

DESCRIPTION

The position is for a Mechanical Engineer that would be involved in the technical development and creation of the components for an electric vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS

Power electronics packaging experience
Analytical skills (gear design and analysis, vibration simulation)
Electric or hybrid vehicle experience is preferred but not required
Experience at the tier 1 or tier 2 level - this is a technical development position, not a release position
Experience using gear design CAE tools
MCAD design experience (Solidworks or Catia) is preferred but not required
Manufacturing, DFA/DFM experience is required
Validation test experience with transmissions or gear systems
Reliability (Weibull prediction), failure analysis or VSA experience desired but not required
DFMEA experience
Ability to work on multiple projects
Ability to work with customer technical peers identifying technical requirements for projects
Some customer and supplier development experience is required

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master degree preferred)
