Description

NETWORK ENGINEER WAN / CITRIX FOCUSED

Hot Buttons:
Must have title of: Network Engineer , Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or Computer Engineer
Must have: Strong Citrix exp. (routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.)
Must have: some type of VoIP exp. Citrix, Cisco Voice, Call Manager, or Cisco VoIP is best fit. But will consider other VoIP exp.

RESPONSIBLIITES: (Partial list)
Maintain and help upgrade Corporations Wide Area Network Communications.
Support and manage the Wide Area Network and local LAN infrastructure devices, including voice communication technologies this corporations global network.
Maintain corporations Wide Area Network through monitoring, maintenance & management of network infrastructure devices.
Supervise distributed Internet connectivity to network via Firewall, Proxy, and SSL VPN services.
Provide support, direction and project manages new implementations of information systems and communication.
Oversee at times, local technicians in resolving local network issues and be the point of contact for advanced troubleshooting of user or network problems.
Support of network outages and degradation of service.
Communicate with other global facilities
Work with Director of IT on recommendations for upgrades and global IT improvements within the corporation via new data communications, IT equipment and upgrades.
Assist in training new employees and oversee technicians as projects arise.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors or AS degree helpful (But will consider work experience !)
3+ years in a Network Engineering or Systems Administration position
CCNA or CCNP a plus (but will consider work exp.)
2+ yrs exp. with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
Exp. with routing protocols
Voice Communications exp. (VoIP, other others) Cisco Voice a big plus !!
Exp. w/ network troubleshooting and monitoring tools
Knowledge of WLAN protocols, standards, and security
Knowledge of telecommunication standards and technologies
Excellent troubleshooting and organization skills
Strong communications skills
Low travel

Must have: some type of VoIP exp.
